Working on new features for the Printforia and ONE API and Dashboard. Responsible for designing and developing new technologies to integrate with third-party client systems. I was able to work with the event and listener on this project, integrating a new way of communication and troubleshooting execution and response time. Backend was developed with Node.Js and fronted (Dashboard) with Vue, I could participate in both instances and create new features as reports, create new sales form, manager products, lifetime of order status, etc.

Responsible for designing and developing new technologies to integrate with third-party ERP systems. Most notably, working on a project to develop an app used by grocery stores to contact their suppliers and request new items. Overseeing the integration of the solution with the respective grocery stores. The application is currently in use in over twenty locations and has over twenty thousand registered suppliers. Conducting analysis and creating flow charts for new integrations with external systems. Gathering and saving the clients’ inventory, pricing and customer data onto the platform to help streamline new purchase requests. Additionally, taking part in some of the other development aspects of the project. Responsible for coding some of the back-end modules with Node.js. Overseeing the CI/CD-related activities on the project. Deploying the application through a Docker container hosted on an AWS cloud. Handling container orchestration tasks with Amazon ECS.

Worked on a contract for a local insurance company called Interseguro. Consulted the client on IT-related projects and took part in the development stages. Most notably, helped develop an internal PHP-based system to review all customers who applied for life insurance policies. The system used an algorithm to determine whether applicants were eligible for certain plans. Helped develop back-end modules for the platform with Laravel and Lumen. Attempted to implement a microservice-based structure with Node.js and AWS Lambda, but ultimately kept the PHP structure. Handled interactions between the back end of the platform and the company’s NoSQL and SQL databases. Briefly experimented with React for the front-end development before settling with Angular. Developed another system with PHP and Laravel to register coupons issued to Interseguro clients. Additionally, helped maintain and update their .NET-based payment collection platform. Handled the CI/CD processes on all projects with Docker. Managed version controls with SVN.

Took part in multiple projects for a real estate listings company called Urbania. Helped develop new modules for their WordPress web portal, as well as maintain existing ones. Implemented various search filters to categorize the properties by location, building type, size and price, among other variables. Developed the modules in PHP with Laravel, Phalcon and Zend Framework. Additionally, used Node.js and .NET programming languages to manage integrations with the portal’s MySQL and MongoDB databases. Developed a mobile version of the web portal to Android devices. Worked on another WordPress development project for a national association for entrepreneurs. Created custom theme, widgets and plugins with PHP. Set up a MySQL database to manage the platform’s data. Hosted each development on an AWS-based cloud infrastructure (Amazon ECS, Amazon RDS and AWS Lambda). Handled the deployments and other CI/CD-related tasks on the projects with Docker and Vagrant. Uploaded all source code onto Git repositories.

Worked on WordPress development projects for several insurance brands associated with Confie Seguros Holding II Co. Set up WordPress systems to evaluate customers and generate insurance plans. Created custom widgets, functions, themes and plugins with PHP. Gained additional experience on ecommerce projects with WooCommerce.

Helped developed a new web system for the company’s HR department to manage staff attendance and internal payments. Built the platform in PHP with Yii framework. Gained some additional experience with Symfony and Doctrine.

Worked on multiple projects for a client called Cinepapaya, who provide online services to review cinema listings and purchase tickets. Helped develop their main web portal with PHP, HTML and JavaScript technologies. Used Yii as the main back-end framework on the project. Additionally, took part in the development of the company’s main Android application. Coded the mobile app in Java and implemented the same primary features as the web portal. Worked under Scrum methodology throughout the role.
