Sammy Cash is a startup banking platform for global digital professionals. Allows users outside the U.S. to open and keep their money in US dollars in a US bank account.

Project- Sammy platform

Led a remote async team of eight engineers and successfully launched the Sammy Cash platform from its inception and grew it to more than 15,000 active users. We have developed and launched features like KYC validation, International transfers, Referrals, Peer to Peer, transfers and several third-party integrations.

We use Ruby on Rails, Rspec, Hotwire, Tailwind , React Native, Styled Components, PostgreSQL, Stripe, GitHub, Heroku, DigitalOcean, AWS S3, Shapeup.

Spin is one of the leading micro-mobility companies and a unit of Ford Mobility. We operate dockless electric scooters on campuses and in cities across North America and Europe.

Project- Spin Pass

Successfully launched SpinPass products in North America, the UK, Germany, and Spain, growing it to represent 20% of our sales worldwide. Built using ReactNative, Jest, Ruby on Rails, Rspec, PostgreSQL, Datadog, Docker, CircleCI, Stripe & Paypal.

Project- IoT Datadog integration

Knowing the status of our vehicles (scooters, e-bikes) is key for the company. We wanted to know in real time if a vehicle was out of an area, and its battery was below 20%, among other metrics. So we successfully implemented and launched our metrics service using Go, gRPC, Datadog, and CircleCI.

Taught 47 students about web application development professionals using ReactJS and Svelte

TaskRabbit is a platform for freelance labor with local demand, allowing consumers to find immediate help with everyday tasks, including cleaning, moving, delivery, and handyman.

Project- I18n

Achieved launch of our web and mobile service in Spain and Canada for Spanish, Catalan, and French languages. I Implemented a process to automate translations using rake jobs and Smartling We developed new features and APIs to support multi-language for all platforms (web & mobile) using Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Rspec, Redis, Docker, Rake, and Datadog.

Completed accessibility compliance (ADA) for our web and mobile applications. Develop several APIs using React, Cypress,, Ruby on Rails, Rspec, Docker, CircleCI.

FigureEight is a machine learning and artificial intelligence company, their platform transforms text, image, audio, and video data into customized high-quality training data for a wide range of use cases, including autonomous vehicles, consumer products, and identification.

Project- Single Sign On

Achieved Single-Sign-On service for our on-prem platform for the US Government.

Built a microservice to allow on-prem users to sign in using Okta and SAML protocol assertions.

Developed Ruby on Rails services using Postgres, Docker, SemaphoreCI, PaperTrail, and Google Cloud service.

Project- Monoliths to Microservices

Worked on splitting two big monolithic applications into several microservices, we achieved reduced response time for high-demanded services from ~1s to ~4ms.
